The BESTON M7001 is a dual-slot, Micro-USB-powered smart charger designed for various 3.7V rechargeable Li-ion batteries, including 18650 and 16340 (RCR123A) sizes. Important considerations
- CR123A vs. RCR123A: The BESTON M7001 is designed to charge rechargeable Li-ion batteries. CR123A batteries come in both primary (non-rechargeable) and rechargeable (RCR123A) varieties. Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable CR123A batteries, as this can be dangerous.
- USB power source: The charger typically comes with a USB-A to Micro-USB cable. For a wall adapter, Beston recommends using a 5V/1A USB charger power supply.
- Battery voltage: Confirm your batteries are rechargeable 3.7V Li-ion and not 3V primary lithium batteries before charging. The onus is on the user to ensure compatibility.
