The Sonos Arc Ultra features 15 Class-D digital amplifiers and a variety of drivers, including seven silk-dome tweeters (two upward-firing), six mid-woofers, and one Sound Motion™ woofer for enhanced bass. It supports various audio formats via HDMI eARC, such as Stereo PCM, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos, Multichannel PCM, and DTS Digital Surround. Audio enhancement features include Trueplay™ for room tuning, Speech Enhancement for dialogue clarity, Night Sound, and adjustable EQ.

Connectivity and control

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, one HDMI eARC/ARC port, and one Ethernet port. Voice control is supported through Sonos Voice Control and Amazon Alexa via a built-in microphone array. It also supports Apple AirPlay 2 and has capacitive touch controls on the top surface.
