- True stereo sound: Unlike the original Move, the Move 2 has a new acoustic architecture with two angled tweeters that deliver a wider, higher-fidelity stereo soundstage.

- Automatic Trueplay™: The speaker uses built-in microphones to constantly analyze and optimize its sound for its surroundings. This means the sound is automatically tuned whether you are indoors or outside.

Power and connectivity
- Extended battery life: The Move 2 offers up to 24 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, which is more than double the battery life of the original Move.
- Dual connectivity: You can stream music over Wi-Fi 6 for the highest audio quality or switch to Bluetooth 5.3 when you’re on the go. Critically, it allows you to be connected to both at once and even re-broadcast a Bluetooth signal to your other Sonos speakers.
- USB-C port: A USB-C port allows you to charge the speaker or use it as a power bank to charge other devices. With an extra Sonos Line-In Adapter (sold separately), you can also connect external audio sources like a turntable.
- Replaceable battery: To extend the life of the speaker, the battery is replaceable.
- Improved charging base: The included wireless charging base has been redesigned with a more compact, detachable adapter for convenience.
